The transformer that provides energy to Alaçatı by Gdz Elektrik was designed to raise awareness with the slogan “This is Alaçatı. It was painted with the slogan "We make music here, not noise."

The #alacati75decibel project, implemented by Alaçatı Tourism Association, attracted great attention. 135 businesses that are members of the association supported Gdz Elektrik's decision not to broadcast music above 75 decibels on the streets, which are common areas of Alaçatı, with their "silent" transformers.

Gdz Elektrik, which distributes 14 million MWh of electricity annually to 3.2 million subscribers in Izmir and Manisa, completely changed the appearance of its transformer in Alaçatı within the scope of the project. In accordance with the #alacati75decibel call, Trafo said, “This is Alaçatı. It was painted to symbolize the peace of Alaçatı, accompanied by the slogan "We make music here, not noise".

Korkut Denizeri, President of Alaçatı Tourism Association, stated that Gdz Elektrik worked feverishly before the season not only with its silent transformers but also for uninterrupted service, and said, “All streets in Alaçatı were checked one by one by the Gdz Elektrik team. All necessary precautions were taken within a planned work to avoid interruptions. "We thank Gdz Elektrik for their wholehearted support to both our project and Alaçatı," he said.
