Our Investment Activities
We create investment plans for the development of electrical energy demand in our region, the needs of our distribution network and the supply-demand changes that the distribution system may encounter in the future, and we realize capacity increase, renewal, technology and other necessary investments in line with these plans. Accordingly, we monitor our investments in accordance with our investment budget approved by EMRA and regularly report our investment realizations to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, EMRA and TEDAŞ.
Our Maintenance and Repair Activities
As Gdz Electricity, we continue our 7 days and 24 hours maintenance and repair activities with our experienced Fault, Repair and Maintenance teams located in different locations in our field of activity. We aim to provide quality and uninterrupted energy supply by reducing downtime and number of failures in our operating area, thanks to the maintenance & repair activities carried out by our teams in line with notifications and notices from consumers, data received from automation systems, and determinations made during maintenance work.
Our maintenance activities; We continue in accordance with annual maintenance plans, based on preventive and predictive maintenance principles and making maximum use of technological opportunities. In this direction, we monitor our energy transmission lines from the air by means of unmanned aerial vehicles and quickly identify the required maintenance works.
During our maintenance, power cuts are made obligatory in terms of occupational health and safety, within the limits allowed by the legislation. All of our users who apply through our call center are also informed about the planned outages via SMS or e-mail.
Our Lighting Activities
We regularly carry out planned maintenance and improvement activities for urban lighting. In this direction, we review the lighting systems at certain intervals, replace the equipment that have reached their economic life, and perform the maintenance of those that have not completed their economic life. In addition, in line with the Decisions of the Lighting Commission, we install new lighting systems in accordance with our investment budget approved by EMRA. In addition to these activities, we monitor and finalize the lighting malfunctions, notices and complaints that our consumers can make through 186 call centers, our corporate website, our WhatsApp and/or BIP platforms, written and telephone communication channels.

In addition, we aim to detect illegal electricity usage by comparing the consumption information of consumers with the consumption information of transformers with big data analysis.
Distributed Energy Resources
While distributed energy resources have increased rapidly on a global scale in recent years; The versatile benefits offered by these resources, which consist of distributed generation, demand-side participation and back-of-meter battery systems connected to the system from the distribution grid level, play a key role in the easier integration of renewable energy resources into the system and increasing the flexibility of the entire electricity system. As a result, distributed energy sources; It provides many benefits that support the healthy operation of the grid, especially its contributions to the decarbonization of the energy system, reduction of system losses, increase in voltage and energy quality, decrease in transmission and distribution system investments.
As Gdz Electricity; We manage the system connection processes of licensed and unlicensed generation facilities based on renewable energy resources to be established in our operating region, and we monitor all distributed energy resources with a generation capacity of 50kW and above, and transfer the incoming generation data to TEİAŞ systems online.
